Ive owned a 2012 commander 1000, a 2014 maverick xrs 1000, and a 2019 x3 xds. Im not happy with the xtp performance..... Yes, it is smooth, and it is quiet. But it falls on its face in the top end. My unit only revs to 7000 rpm on flat roads. Going up a sandy hill it would only pull 6200 rpm's at wot. If i recall, my past 1000 v-twins would pull to 8200. If the 1000 v-twin peak power is in the low 8000's , why clutch it to 7000 peak??? So it appears I will need a clutch kit to raise...
